Hello and welcome to today’s outfit post, this week I’m back with another look in association with George at Asda! Last week I brought you my Get Your Bright On outfit, with an embroidered dress (see here), and this week I decided to give another one of their floral dresses a twist. The lovely guys at George at Asda let me pick out two pieces to style for you altogether, from their summer collection, so I hope you enjoy today’s final look! It’s all about grunging up the girlishness…
I started off with this ditsy floral dress, obviously from George at Asda (here), I like that it isn’t too vibrant, and it has a burnout vibe that I think lends itself well to this outfit in particular. To downplay the floral look, I threw over my new Harley Davidson crop that I bought via Depop and which was featured in my recent Depop haul here. I love how these pieces look layered together, especially when I’m nipped in with my H&M belt to stop frumpiness occurring! I also went for my classic Forever 21 sunglasses, Tommy watch and then upped the accessories ante with this amazing New Look rucksack which you can pick up here. I have adored this rucksack since I saw it at the AW14 press day back in May, and have been refreshing the New Look website since to get my hands on it! Last of all are my River Island boots which were a lowly £20 in their recent sale. I wanted these when they were £40, but I waited it out, and I’m so glad my patience paid off.
Thanks once again to my gorgeous friend Jade of Nouvelle Noire for these great snaps! Jade and I took outfit shots on Embankment after attending the amazing Time: Tattoo Art Today exhibition at Somerset House, which we adored. If you’d like to read about that, and see the incredible visuals from the exhibition, just click here for my post all about it. The exhibition runs until October 5th, so you still have plenty of time to see it in person too! I’d highly recommend going if you love tatts!
That’s it for today’s outfit post, I hope you enjoyed it! How would you style this dress? I’d love to know, so tell me in the comments, or tweet me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
