Spring is officially in swing, and whilst the weather may not have completely made up its mind yet, I’m fully embracing the slightly warmer weather, and lack of needing a huge coat here in the city. Nothing feels more fresh at the moment than a shirt and jeans ensemble, and that’s exactly what I have lived in of late. When the lovely guys at Pep&Co asked if I wanted to put my spin on their new spring collection, I jumped at the chance to incorporate some new fun pieces into my wardrobe. As you know, I love a fashion bargain, and Pep&Co‘s gorgeous pieces channel this season’s trends without the huge price tag, which I love. Whether you’re looking for a small update, or a whole wardrobe overhaul, look no further.
Jeans are a notoriously hard thing to get right, and I have the hardest time finding jeans on the high street. As soon as I popped these Pep&Co jeans on though, I knew it was love for life. They have the perfect amount of stretch, so you’re not restricted, yet they’re super flattering, and I love the range of washes that they come in. This worn, slightly acid-wash black pair are my new staples, and give everything a more grungy vibe. Did I mention that they are also only £10? They also avoid the common pitfalls of being A. too long, and also B. being so stretchy that they don’t feel like jeans anymore. These are absolute denim dreams, and I apologise in advance for how much you’re going to be seeing me in these!
To keep the look laidback, I next opted for this Pep&Co embroidered shirt, which comes in at only £13. These embroidered shirts are really having a moment right now, and can get super expensive, but this one is not only affordable, but gorgeous quality too. I wore this from early morning til gone dark, and it was so soft and easy to wear. Whilst the shirt is longline and hits mid-thigh, I thought I’d keep it even more casual by tying it at the waist, which I always find flattering on my shape. I love that there are so many ways you can wear this, it’s a great piece to pack for a trip- you could even wear it open as a jacket, which I’m definitely going to be trying next. The chambray blue teamed with the folk inspired embroidery makes the perfect pairing.
I hope you enjoyed that little look at one of my recent outfits, definitely head over to Pep&Co for a peek at some more of their spring pieces, and be sure to check out the store locator to find your nearest store for all of those beautiful bargains! If you pop in, let me know what you pick up in the comments! I’ll be styling up some more of the Pep&Co collection in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for that- and I will see you all soon.
Until next time…
