Hello and welcome to today’s post! As you may know, I recently revisited one of my all-time favourite cities- Paris, for a long weekend with my boyfriend and parents. We had an absolutely wonderful time, and of course, it wouldn’t be a trip without some photos and of course, some outfit shots. The deal I found for us meant we flew hand luggage only, which was definitely a challenge for an overpacker like me, but I came up with a capsule wardrobe for the trip which I hope you’ll enjoy seeing over the course of the Weekend In Paris series.
The first day was almost all travel for the first half. We flew at 7am London time and arrived at 9am Paris time, then travelled into the city centre from Charles De Gaulle. We spent the rest of the day awandering round the Tour Eiffel, Bir-Hakeim and the banks of the Seine, all which were a short stroll from our hotel and which you can see here. I decided to go all out with my outfit, despite the travel, as it was Paris after all and we still had a day to enjoy!
I’m wearing a gorgeous printed shirt from Monki, called the Carrie, which was a steal at £20 here. I also hauled this shirt in my What I Got For Paris video which you can find here. Also from Monki are these incredible ‘Unni’ sunglasses which are just £8 here, and which I posted about here. I paired the shirt with a leather look skirt from New Look’s Generation section (no judgement it fits so well). The studded belt was just £3.99 from New Look too, and the gold chain was equally as inexpensive a while back from H&M. Finally I finished off the look with my Next oversized red blazer which I adore, and which you can find here. This blazer and the amazing TK Maxx boots I’m wearing are also in the Paris video I mentioned earlier, and there’s another post about these fabulous shoes here.
That’s it for the post on day one! There are three more of these on the way, so be sure to check back this Friday, next Monday and next Friday for more! Both of my videos this Sunday and next Sunday will be Paris themed too, so keep your eyes peeled for those being uploaded too! I hope you enjoyed today’s post, let me know what you thought and I’ll see you soon. Until next time…
