A Weekend In Paris: Day Three

Paris Day Three

We’re on to day three of my Parisian outfits! If you’ve just stumbled across my blog at this point, days one and two are here and here respectively. I also uploaded my Paris vlog/lookbook yesterday, so if you’re interested in seeing what we got up to in Paris in video form, it’s here! On to today, and this look was put together for a day at Versailles, and might I say, a day of queuing! If you’re planning to head to Versailles during your Paris trip, book ahead! Also, if you’re from within the EU and under 25, it’s free for you to get in, so you don’t need to queue at all (something I wish I’d known!) Let’s revisit Versailles…

The gardens were by far better than the actual interior in my honest opinion. On a sunny day, they were just the best place to wander, and my boyfriend and I hired a golf buggy so we could see the whole grounds. The gardens are just so expansive, it’d be hard to see everything in one day, on foot. The chateau was amazing, but as I said, the gardens were more impressive, much more fun and less crowded! Also, if you’re not eligible for free entry, a ticket for the gardens is much cheaper! Basically I freaking loved the gardens, OK, they’re a must-see!

For a day in the gardens, I donned a cute summer dress, and it’s this neoprene number from H&M. I bagged this for just £7 in their recent sale, and I think it looks like something from my favourite Finnish brand, Marimekko. I also wore the same coat, boots, sunnies and bag, as I went for a capsule wardrobe for this trip! The links for these items are in the first blog post, which is right here.

That’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it! Be sure to let me know what you thought below, or via Twitter @MillieDelacoe. I’ll see you guys on Friday for the fourth and final part of the Weekend In Paris series, but it’s goodbye for now! Until next time…
