Hello and welcome to today’s overdue outfit post! This outfit right here is the one I wore to my first ever day at London Fashion Week, and can I just say I loved every minute of being there! My full comprehensive post about LFW will go live on Monday, as well as a vlog very soon, but I wanted to show you my look first. Being as it was LFW after all, I thought it was a bit of a ‘go big, or go home’ situation, so I did the former. Pink, mustard, tartan, the works.
I decided to go for my ‘thrifted’ checkered blazer first and foremost. This was thrifted, for me, ever so kindly by my bestie’s Mum last year, and what a find it is! She paid just £5 for this vintage Mondi jacket and I’m besotted. I talked about it a little while back in a haul here for more info! So many people asked where this was from, and couldn’t believe it was a charity shop find! I then went for a texture mix with this pink brocade H&M dress that I bagged in a sale a couple of years ago for a lowly £10! Definitely not an expensive ensemble at all!
To accessorise, I went for my Vivienne Westwood (via House of Fraser) handbag, as it was Fashion Week after all! Fashion Week started on Friday the 14th February, so I couldn’t resist throwing on this oversized heart necklace from Topshop too. This was just £4.50 in the January sales, and I think it’s a real statement piece, I haven’t seen anything like it before. I also featured this in my ‘What I Got In The Sales Haul’ recently, so you can check that out here. As usual I had my H&M boots on, which I absolutely live in and give me such good height.
Finally I piled on the rings Phoebe from Friends style, which I LOVE doing! From left to right they are a family heirloom, then both New Look and the right hand is completely H&M, though they didn’t come together. I tend to buy sets that have one or two rings in I like, and mix and match! My nail wraps were a Christmas gift from my bestie, they didn’t last long but they looked amazing on the day! I hope you enjoyed this OOTD, be sure to let me know what you think of it, and I’ll see you all very soon. Until next time…
