Hey there guys, Sunday is well and truly under way, and of course it’s that time where I take you through my favourite videos of the week. There are just two videos that I’ve absolutely loved this week and they are both equally amazing, so grab a late afternoon coffee and take to the sofa for this week’s round up.
Firstly today it’s a super cute stop motion animation video from Wendy’s Lookbook. Wendy is one of my go-to bloggers for style inspiration and endless ideas for putting outfits together. When I heard that she’d created a shoe related stop motion animation short, I had to check it out, and of course in true Wendy style, it doesn’t disappoint. The video follows the story of a pair of flats who dream of being heels, and struggle with their identity and being themselves, thus the title, ‘Be Your Shoeself’. Aside from being a lovely, sentimental animation with heart, it’s also amazingly well done and even my boyfriend who wouldn’t know a nice heel if it bit him, could still appreciate the video and the hard work that’s gone into it. The behind the scenes video is definitely worth checking out too.
Wendy also has an amazing blog, so click here to check that out too!
The second and final video for today may be a predictable love for me, as it’s a Marilyn Monroe make up tutorial. Now, I love a vintage style make up tutorial at the best of times, but when it’s done by a make up artist that I really respect it gains extra cool credits. This week one of my favourite make up artists, (and Youtubers), Tanya Burr (or Pixi2woo) uploaded a great Marilyn make up tutorial that makes it super easy to replicate the much coveted look, but also with added insider tips, which we all love don’t we? Be sure to check it out and don’t forget to subscribe/like/share the video to give Tanya even more support!
Tanya also has a beauty blog which you can visit by clicking here.
That’s it for this week’s video round up, are you loving either of these videos, and have I missed out on any videos this week that you love? Let me know by leaving me a comment or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
