I’ve always been very much into cowboy-esque garb, and will never say no to a tassel or two on my clothes. Luckily for me, cowboy is very much de rigeur right now, so there’s plenty of wild west influenced items out there on the high street. If you follow me on Insta you’ll know that I pretty much have not taken off this little Milky Bar Kid style scarf over the past few weeks, and now I have an all new obsession- these tasseled boots. When Jones Bootmaker reached out to me recently to see if I’d like to style up a pair of their shoes, they were already talking my language, as boots are my natural habitat, there is no question. Whilst they have an array of gorgeous heels, flats, and much more besides, it’s boots that sprang to my mind instantly and it’s boots that I chose. This very pair I might add.
Now tan isn't necessarily a colour I think many people would associate with me, going for black as my usual neutral, but something about these gorgeous soft suede boots called out to me. I just wanted to go for something a little bit different, and tan really does soften up a look, and looks amazing with pretty much everything! The shade lends itself well to easy-dressing, leaving the statement-making to the tassels and pointed toe. The suede is second-to-none and buttery soft, and you know with a great pair of leather shoes that they’re going to wear so nicely over time. When I fall in love with a shoe, I fall hard, and I don’t want to find them rendered irreparable in a few short months, which happens to plastic shoes. I’m in it for the long haul with these leather beauties.
Let’s talk heels; I love a heeled boot, I always feel that I need that little bit of height, and these give just enough. You’re not going to be uncomfortable, or tottering about in these, I’d say they’re comfy enough for a full day, and I would happily take these away with me on my next trip as my main shoe of choice. I can’t wait to take them to Santorini next month, and I have no doubt whatsoever that they’ll last me well on the endless steps and copious amounts of sightseeing. If you’d like to get your hands on these boots, they’re right here, and at £79 they’re a perfect price point for real leather, buttery suede boots that will last you well into winter. I can’t wait to transition these from summer to autumn to winter- just make sure you get some suede spray incase there’s rain, that’d be my top tip!
That’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know what you think of these boots and the cowboy trend in general, I’d love to know. Stay tuned for my long-awaited and well overdue fashion haul (part one) this weekend on my channel, and I will see you then!
Until next time…
