Outfit Of The Day: The Thigh-High Boot

Fashion month has officially started, and that signals the bi-annual burst in street style photos that are set to influence our outfits right through until next season. One trend which is sky-rocketing, is the thigh-high boot, and I’m sure that as London Fashion Week takes over town, I’ll be seeing these beauties everywhere. Fashion month also brings a sea of style icons, from editors, to stylists, to models, to bloggers, and one such icon designed the very boots I’m wearing in today’s outfit of the day.

The Thigh-High Boot

Hanneli Mustaparta has long been a street style icon, photographed in everything from minis to maxis, crop tops to couture and always with the fanciest footwear- and nothing less. Today though, we know the answer to where her enviable shoes are from- they’re Deichmann. Hanneli has brought her signature flair to the high street, in a brand new collaboration with Deichmann, and the whole collection is worthy of a spot on the frow. Hanneli’s ability to rock just about anything she puts her mind to means her chic looks transcend the fashion spectrum, and her shoes are no exception. There’s something here for every girl; classy, comfy, smart, sassy. Heeled, no heel, demure, statement- the gang’s all here. It’s the capsule collection to end all capsule collections.

The Thigh-High Boot

My favourite pair has to be the thigh-high boots. And not just because I have a penchant for superheroes. These boots are the epitome of comfort meets style, and I genuinely had no trouble wearing these from dawn until dusk in the Big Smoke. Being as Hanneli is the biggest jetsetter- I thought I’d head into the centre of my beloved city to truly give my boots a fair trial. It’s coming up to London Fashion Week after all! These streamlined boots with biker detail are the ultimate winter must-have, perfect for grunging up girly looks, or adding a streamlined shoe to a busier ensemble. These are absolute classics, practical for the on-the-go city lifestyle, yet effortlessly cool. I teamed mine with one of my favourite vintage dresses for extra edge, proving they can mix new with old, and the well-loved in your wardrobe with the just-in. Updating your look has never been simpler- or more affordable.

The Thigh-High Boot

With prices ranging from £9.99 to £39.99, Hanneli’s killer heels (and vast array of flats) aren’t going to break the bank- it’s a far cry from the hefty designer price tags we often see during fashion month. For your next pair of dreamy shoes, definitely head over to Deichmann today, the whole collection is right here. Whether you want to go a little preppy with a statement brogue, or stay simple with a neutral boot there’s something for you here. I already have my eyes on the heeled, cleated-soled boots with gold hardware- they’re ready for pairing with sleek, minimal looks, and more rough and ready ripped jeans and band tees.

The Thigh-High Boot

I’m literally off to fill my online shopping basket with more of Hanneli’s beautiful collection, definitely let me know which ones you’ve got your eye on, and what you’ll be wearing them with- I’d love to know! You’ll be seeing more of this collection in my upcoming videos and posts- that is if I can snag a few more pairs before they inevitably sell out! That’s it for today’s post- be sure to check back this weekend for a brand new fashion video, fresh from my channel and I’ll see you all soon. Until next time…
