Outfit Of The Day: My Fuzzy Valentine

OOTD: My Fuzzy Valentine

It’s that time of year again, and whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, a casual evening in, or a big Galentine’s night out with the girls, it’s time to start thinking about those all-important outfits. I definitely fall into the casual category when it comes to Valentine’s attire, as that’s just the way my boyfriend and I roll, so I’ve put together this cute but casual outfit for guys today to give you some inspo! As far as dates go, a day out in a museum or gallery, plenty of food and maybe a movie in the cinema is what I’m all about, so there’s no high heel, strappy, lacy nothing going on with me. I’m all about comfort when it comes to going out all day sightseeing and spending time with my boyfriend, and today’s outfit is a perfect example of what I wear out and about with him.

I started this outfit off with this gorgeous Monki dress, which is still flirty with its tulle skirt. This is the perfect LBD because it transitions so easily from season to season. I found this perfect frock via ThatSaleSite, which is a great database of all the current sales online, and I’ve quickly fallen in love with using the system to save extra pennies. The lovely guys behind ThatSaleSite let me pick out some Valentine’s-worthy bits, so this Monki dress via ASOS was my first choice. Secondly, to keep the look casual, and wearable for this more frosty time of year, I went for this Urban Outfitters cardigan, which inspired today’s title, as it’s just so fuzzy and warm! For extra warmth I layered my Forever 21 biker jacket under the cardigan, and emphasised the silver hardware on it with the Rock n Rose x Pixie Lott cross necklace. I actually bagged this necklace via Depop, and I have a haul featuring this up now, here. Finally I finished off the look with a slouchy bucket bag that was a steal at £9 from Primark, and even more of a steal, these ASOS Enemy boots that I bagged for a lowly £25 in the sale, and which I live in! Now it’ll be even easier for you to keep on top of the sales too with ThatSaleSite, so you’ll be bargain hunting alongside me all year! That’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed this little insight into my V-Day outfit and my new favourite sale resource. Definitely check out ThatSaleSite, and I’ll see you soon. Until next time…
