The New Everyday Boots

Rocket Dog Boots

Last year was definitely the year of the ankle boot. I rocked them along with everyone else, and loved them, and continue to love them, but this year, there’s change in the wind. Knee-highs, and over-the-knee boots are back and better than ever. Everyone who’s anyone is giving their wardrobe a little nudge into 2015 with a badass boot, coaxing out their inner superhero, and a shoe lover like me doesn’t need convincing to jump on that bandwagon. When the lovely guys at Rocket Dog offered to let me road test a pair of their new boots, I couldn’t wait to work them into my wardrobe on the daily. Whether you’re running about town, keeping it sleek at the office, or meeting friends for a well-deserved drink, these tick all the boxes. Without further ado, let’s get straight into it…

At £84.99 these are on the pricier end of the footwear spectrum than I typically feature- but an investment shoe, is an investment shoe. If like me, you’re faithful to the same few pairs of shoes day in, day out, and want longevity for your money- these are your best bet. In terms of cost-per-wear they’re a bargain, available in this luxe brown, and black, they’re bound to go with everything in your wardrobe, while still being comfortable despite the height. The chunky block heel is so cushy you’ll forget it’s there, so you don’t have to compromise with comfort over style. You can pick up these bad boys right now on the Rocket Dog site here.

That’s it for today’s post, I hope you guys enjoyed it! I’ll be back again this weekend with my January Collective Haul for you guys, and next week’s blog post will be a Valentine’s themed outfit post to get you in the mood for the 14th! Until next time…
