If you’re not already in love with Chloe Norgaard, or she has so far evaded your psyche, go aquaint yourself with the rainbow-haired model we’re all loving at the moment, on the blog here. On Wednesday here on the blog, it was all about Chloe and her incredible look, and today I’m going to help you GET her look, without breaking the bank. Primark’s latest summer drop is brimming with amazing Chloe-esque pieces, so I took it upon myself to put some outfits together inspired by the one and only grungy model of the moment. These pieces are either instore at Primark, or will be hitting Primark stores very soon, so keep your eyes peeled, I’ve tried to find out the prices for all items, though some have not been priced up yet. Enjoy!
The basic Chloe outfit
Chloe is definitely an eclectic dresser, so if you’re colour shy, print shy or even texture shy then these looks are not going to be for you. If though, you’re feeling like summer requires a bit more vibrancy and pattern, then you’re going to love this. Chloe mixes prints like there’s no tomorrow, she goes for rips, tears, netting, slogan, slubby tees and piles on the necklaces like nobody’s business so in Chloe’s world, more is definitely more.
Chloe loves a good stripy trouser, and has been spotted wearing her pair over and over again, here, here and here! Now Primark have jumped on the striped trouser bandwagon and their pair will only set you back £14, which is a great deal. I’ve teamed the striped trousers with a £6 sports lux style basketball vest, that touches on Chloe’s penchant for netting and texture in outfits. To up the colour ante, (this is Chloe after all) I’ve gone for this spiked double string necklace which gives the look a punky vibe, and finally finished off the look with Chloe’s footwear of choice- brothel creepers, and a £6 tough studded bag.
Outfit two highlights Chloe’s more ladylike outfit choices, she doesn’t shy away from dresses, but she always finds a way to rough them up a bit and make them less girly-girly. This cut-out dress is just £13 and brings a bit of colour to the outfit as I’ve gone for a more Chloe-esque biker look with lots of black for the rest of the ensemble. This dress makes a great base for layering, and this faux leather gilet will add some much-needed edge, but won’t overheat you in the summer sun. Again the £6 duffle bag will keep all your essentials at hand, and the creepers are a great everyday shoe. To amp up the accessories, I’ve gone for this bright pink £2 beanie and these super-cool round sunglasses, Chloe is constantly wearing her round sunnies, so you’ll be in damn good company.
Today’s final outfit is an ode to Chloe’s love of print mixing and ethnic styles and patterns. As a model Chloe travels the world, and she pulls off that geo traveller look so effortlessly too. I’ve gone for clashing, busy prints here with this Mexican fringed top and vibrant, tropical style bottoms. With these more boho type looks, Chloe teams a tonne of necklaces, so I’ve gone for this multi-strand silver necklace with crosses on to get the same effect, Chloe is all about crosses! Again the sunglasses make a bold, edgy statement while being practical, and the studded bucket bag is laidback and can have all your day to day needs thrown into it without being high-maintenance.
That’s it for today’s post, I hope it’ll help you get some of Chloe’s style while saving something for your summer holiday! Let me know what you think of today’s looks by leaving me a comment below and/or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
