Hello and welcome to the latest instalment of She Hearts Sunday. This week there are three fashion and beauty related bits that have been at the top of my radar, so as usual I thought I’d share them with you! Without further ado, let’s get started with this Sunday’s hearts…
She Hearts…Charlotte Free and ASOS #bestnightever
There are few online retailers I love like ASOS as it really is a great place to pick up on-trend up-to-date items for less and somewhere I personally shop more than I probably should! Last week they teamed up with candyfloss-haired Charlotte Free for their #bestnightever campaign, which sees three celeb ladies edit the latest ASOS collection, (the other two are Ellie Goulding and Azealia Banks). Charlotte has picked her favourite ASOS pieces, posts updates to the site and has even put together a party playlist to boot, which means us Free fans can immerse ourselves in Charlotte’s punky, pastel-filled world. Go check it out here on ASOS.com.
She Hearts…Disney Princesses at Harrods
There’s no denying that Harrods’ window displays are always absolutely gorgeous, but this holiday season they’ve really outdone themselves. The iconic London store has had designers recreate the most famous Disney Princesses’ looks for their Christmas display and they truly are a masterpiece. The princesses on display are Cinderella by Versace, Sleeping Beauty in Elie Saab, Mulan by Missoni, Pocahontas by Roberto Cavalli, Belle in Valentino, Snow White in Oscar De La Renta, Aladdin’s Jasmine in Escada, The Little Mermaid in Marchesa, Tangled’s Rapunzel in Jenny Packham and The Princess and The Frog’s Tiana in Ralph & Russo. I can’t wait to get to Harrods this weekend to see them myself, but if you’re not going to be able to get to London, the whole collection is available to view on the Vogue website here.
She Hearts…Pixiwoo’s Blake Lively Tutorial
If there’s an on-screen star whose make up I am constantly sighing over, it’s Blake Lively’s. It doesn’t matter if I’m watching re-runs of Gossip Girl, in the cinema watching her latest movie or checking out TV coverage of a premiere, that girl has always got it going on. That’s why when my favourite Youtubers and make up artists Pixiwoo uploaded this Blake Lively tutorial I was instantly drawn in. This is a great Christmas party look and can easily be toned down for day, but it’s one I’m definitely going to give a go. If it will allow me to bear any, and I mean 0.001 percent resemblance in any way to the gorgeous Blake, I’ll try it…who’s with me?
That’s it for this week’s hearts…let me know what you’ve been loving this week by leaving me a comment or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
