She Hearts Sunday #8

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you’re all settled after our spell of time travel last night! Now that we’ve gained an hour it’s time to celebrate with your favourite autumnal drink and a look at what’s been high on my radar this week. Let’s get to it…

She Hearts…Topshop’s Adrenalin

If you follow me on Instagram (@camilladelacoe) you may have heard me raving about Topshop’s Adrenalin nail polish that I was sent by a friend a few weeks ago. The gorgeous pink and holographic glitter polish is a real ‘look-at-me’ kawaii/Barbie-esque polish, which of course is right up my street. At £6 this isn’t the cheapest polish, but the effect really is gorgeous. It adds a great 3D effect which shines differently depending on the light and has a more luxe-look shine than some other polish formulas I’ve tried. This lasted really well on my nails and I know I’m going to be wearing this non-stop this season to give my nails an extra injection of fun. You can pick it up from the Topshop site, here.

She Hearts…Xenia Onatopp’s Make Up Look

With Bond fever sky high right now, it makes sense to celebrate all the best Bond girls that we’ve seen in the last fifty years. Luckily, make up artists Sam and Nic of Pixiwoo have been busy creating amazing make up tutorials so you can get your favourite Bond girl’s look with ease. One of the best looks, in my opinion, is the latest video which shows you just how to get a fab Xenia Onatopp look from GoldenEye. Xenia was famously played by the gorgeous Famke Janssen and I think her look in the film is perfect for a glam Christmas party look. Let Nic make it easy for you…

She Hearts…The ASOS Sale

After seeing a fair few haul videos of the latest ASOS sale, I knew I had to take a gander. On browsing through I found tonnes of great bargains this week that I think are solid investments that will stand the test of trends. I picked up three affordable pieces on payday as a sort-of-allowed treat, and I thought I’d share them with you. The first thing I saw was this necklace by Gogo Philip which has a ‘C’ initial on it. I’m not entirely sure whether ASOS ever had other initials on offer, but there are only ‘C’s left now, which to me was fate, and so I picked one up for £6. I thought this has a really cute art deco vibe and it seems some other ladies did too, as they’re now unfortunately sold out.

Secondly I picked up this American Apparel skirt which I immediately fell in love with. For £11.50 I thought that it was great price for an AA product and I can’t wait to team this with band tees and my favourite slouchy jumpers and boots to keep my casual autumn wardrobe more ladylike.

Lastly I picked up another skirt, and it’s in one of my all-time favourite prints. No, not leopard…it’s tartan! I love tartan at this time of year and add to this on-trend pattern a gorgeous peplum and I’m sold. At £17.50 this was more expensive than the other two pieces, but I definitely think I’ll be wearing this a whole lot more. With a simple black top and a chunky necklace this look will see me through lunch dates with friends, as well more formal occasions too when teamed with heels.

That’s it for this week’s She Hearts Sunday, I hope you’re all enjoying your extra hour! Let me know what you’ve been loving this week by leaving me a comment or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…

Millie x
