Style Steal: Marina and the Diamonds’ Cute Cake Dress for Under £50!

We all love it when our favourite style icons rock a super quirky, fun outfit. But donning a dress made of dice a la Katy Perry or even a meat-covered dress a la Lady Gaga is never practical, or affordable. Enter British style icon and singer, Marina Diamandis who is reknowned for her edgy style choices and super cute ensembles. Marina was recently photographed by Pani Paul looking crazily kitsch in a gorgeous cake print frock, perfect for a tea party, that you can get your hands on too!

The great thing for us mere mortals is that this exact frock is available on ASOS as part of ASOS Collection, and to make it even more affordable, it’s now part of the huge ASOS Sale! For a lowy £42 (was £70) this frock is a complete steal and a wardrobe must-have for all the picnics, afternoon teas and garden parties that summer brings with it. With the addition of a belt, it not only divides up the pattern for a higher end feel, but it accentuates the waist creating a fab hourglass figure, as seen on Marina. Being as it has so many colours worked into it, why not try a light blue or light pink belt to mix it up?

The heart cut out on the back only adds to the sweetness and makes this frock a lot dressier, for all those summer occasions you have lined up. The question is, can you afford not to pick this up!

Love Marina? I dedicated a whole post to Marina’s amazing style back in March, so if you’re a huge fan, be sure to check it out, just click here.

That’s it for today’s style steal post, I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know if you plan to get your hands on this dress asap, or if you’ve spotted something Marina-esque on the high street lately, I’d love to know. Leave me a comment or tweet me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
