An OOTD for you today, and this particular outfit is one of my new favourites. Being as the weather picked up this weekend I saw it as the perfect opportunity to wear my new Primark peplum top, which I have been dying to wear since I bought it up a few weeks ago. My boyfriend and I just spent our day wandering through Regent’s Park, sipping on Frappuccinos (new addiction) and browsing all the labyrinthian markets in Camden so this was a fun colourful outfit to wear for that.
As I mentioned by top is from Primark (instore now quick!) and I genuinely think it’s an utter steal at £8. Peplums are huge right now and being black this is great for pairing with almost everything, you could even smarten it up for the office. I love it with my bright H&M skinnies and black Primark flats. As usual I threw my favourite Peacocks mustard coat over the top as it’s such a light coat for days where you don’t really need a bulky jacket with you.
Being as my Max C London skull bag and my Primark flats have gold accents I thought I’d add my favourite gold necklaces too. I used three necklaces to create a layered effect and I love how it turned out. My small ‘C’ necklace was £1.50 from Primark and I believe they are still available instore, I featured it in my April Favourites so to hear more about it, click here. The other two necklaces are a London necklace from Accessorize which I also wore in an OOTD here, and my heart ‘M’ pendant from Urban Outfitters which I featured in my May Favourites.
On my nails I had NYC’s Park Avenue, which I am totally in love with, it’s the perfect browny/greige and it was only £2.49. A comprehensive review and haul of some NYC cosmetics I picked up recently will be up this week! I topped Park Avenue with Hedkandi for Models Own Ibiza Mix which is a fab glitter topcoat packed with tonnes of multicoloured glitter particles. Loving it.
As I said, we spent the day wandering in the nice weather with nowhere to be and no commitments or time constraints. It was lovely to just be for a day without plans! Here are some snaps I took throughout the day.
That’s it for today’s OOTD, I hope it inspired you to work a peplum into your weekend wardrobe! What peplum pieces have you been rocking at the moment? I’d love to know, so comment below or tweet me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
