Before we begin I’d like to apologise for my absence the past few days. As you may know I try to post at least once every day but my work schedule had to take precedence at the end of last week and the beginning of this one too! Nevertheless the extremely late Videos of the Week is here, and there are more posts on the way today too. But, for now here are my favourite video picks from last week and exactly why I’ve been coveting them so much.
There are few blogs that capture my attention like that of Wildfox’s Kimberley Gordon, aptly named I Love Wildfox. The inspirational blog is a visual treat and never fails to make me smile, or sigh with adoration. It was on one of my many visits last week that I came across the newest Wildfox lookbook video for spring/summer, ‘Even Cowgirls Get The Blues’. You may have noticed that I’ve been loving anything Wildfox at the moment due to my mutual love of grunge and pastels and there’s plenty more Wildfox-esque looks due on the way on this blog in the next few days. But, for now let this video show you why they’re such an inspirational clothing company for me at the moment. I want everything.
Next up is this fabulous tutorial that shows you how to get none other than Kristen Stewart’s much-coveted make up look. Being one of my style icons at the moment you can imagine why I couldn’t click this link fast enough when it hit my Youtube subscription box. Nic from Pixiwoo, one of my all-time favourite make up artists, shows you how to get the K-Stew look using a mixed bag of make up so that the look is attainable to all. If you like the video don’t forget to like/favourite/share or subscribe for more of her and Sam’s great make up videos.
This next video comes from one of my newest subscriptions, Wendy’s Lookbook on Youtube. Wendy creates fantastic inspirational videos that show you how to pair outfits and your favourite staples several different ways to achieve new looks. Aside from being amazingly helpful, Wendy is also completely adorable as you’ll see in this next video where she confesses her love for New York. After initially feeling unsettled in New York on a recent trip, Wendy soon fell in love with the place and this is her ode to the city. It’s a really cute little video and just makes me want to visit the big apple even more!
Lastly it’s this hilarious video from The Platform’s P’Trique who you’ll recognise from ‘Shit Fashion Girls Say’ and the like. P’Trique gives you a run down of all the spring trends fresh off the catwalk, so if you need a little outfit inspo, he’s the guy to see. Enjoy.
Despite the lateness I hope you enjoyed today’s videos, let me know what videos you’ve been loving at the moment by leaving me a comment below. Likewise if you have a channel you think I’d love, link it below so I can check it out. Until next time…
