It’s that time again where I share my latest purchase, this week was no super splurge, but I thought it was a really cute little accessory that I could incorporate into many an outfit. Enter my H&M lips scarf from the Divided range, arguably one of my favourite sections of H&M, I don’t care if I’m 22, their stuff is seriously cool. For £5.99 this illustrated scarf features lips, a huge phone and lots of typography and it’s the ultimate kitsch accessory.
When opened out the large type reads ‘Call Me Love’ and a huge pair of lips in the centre is ‘talking’ into an old-fashioned phone. All around the edges there are circles of type and small lips, could it get any sweeter? Although whichever way you wear it you won’t see the entire picture, the small type circles and lips are always evident and I think it’s really versatile. I wore this on the weekend over the top of a Motel shirt dress for a bit of clash with leopard print, but then wore it this week over a simple tee and polka dot hoody for a more relaxed feel but to still add interest.
For £5.99 you can’t go wrong and the light material means it’ll last you through spring/summer without keeping you too warm, and then you can pair it with your autumnal ensembles too when summer’s up.
