Spring has officially sprung, and just lately it seems that everyone is focused on the warm weather arriving, and what we’re going to wear when the sun’s finally here to stay. I’ve been lucky enough to visit a few press days lately, and seen some gorgeous pieces showcased that I thought you guys would also love to see. Of course, this is She Hearts The High Street, so we’re talking affordable fashion here, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be on point. I’ve rounded up some of my favourite snaps from recent press days, so you can have a sneak peek at what’s hitting stores over the next couple of weeks. Get ready with those purse strings ladies!
One of my favourite shoe collections thus far has to be from Deichmann. I’ve worked with them multiple times over the course of my ‘blog life’ and am always astounded at just how affordable their shoes are, being as they usually hit the nail on the head when it comes to trends. Their latest collection featuring cleated soles-galore screams out to me, and I think these pairs will suit so many amazing grungy looks this summer. If you’re not too keen on overly girly sandals, and like something a little edgier- but don’t want to splurge, then look no further. I particularly love the leopard print pair I’ve excessively photographed here! Having seen similar things on the high street right now at more than double the price- these are the ones to go for. They’re stylish without the splurge!
One of the biggest surprises this season has been Miss Selfridge‘s new collection. The brand are looking to appeal to more than just sequin-loving party gals with their new drop and have created a gorgeous, cohesive collection that traverses the seventies trend, with tonnes of suede and fringing, and the ’90s, with pieces reminiscent of Rachel from Friends circa season two! I’m in love with 99.9% of their pieces right now and even ordered an amazing pair of tailored shorts for myself- which you’ll be seeing very soon! It seems they’ve gone a little more upmarket, but without the price tags rising aswell, which is the the cherry on top of the sundae.
Another two brands hitting trends bang-on are Wallis and BHS. If you love pastels, florals, embroidered, seventies pieces and beach-ready bikinis, then you have to check out their newest lines. Pattern, texture mixing and tassels all come into play in both of their collections respectively, and I spotted more than a few pieces that I loved. If you’re off on holiday, their more affordable printed pieces and flowing looks will definitely leave you plenty of spare change to spend while you’re away. That’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what you think of these collections, and what you’re loving this season, I’d love to know. This weekend I have a massive collective haul for you guys, so make sure you pop back for that on Sunday. Until next time…
