Designer Double: Primark’s Saint Laurent Style Tartan Dress!

This my friends, may be the best designer double, ever. Not only have I fallen head over heels in love with Hedi Slimane's amazing Saint Laurent collection, but its very best piece, has a Primark counterpart. That's right, the most covetable, grungy, punky collection to hit catwalks has inspired high street chain Primark, and they have their own version of Saint Laurent's sell out dress.

This gorgeous Saint Laurent dress, albeit awe-inspiring, would literally set you back a few grand, though it's a small price to pay for something Zooey Deschanel's been photographed in, it's still an arm and a leg compared to Primark prices, that are on the absolute opposite end of the scale.

This Primark version is a total steal at just £17 and is available instore now. With almost identical collar and bow detailing as the Saint Laurent original, your friends will never guess you bagged this frock in Primark. You can wear Primark’s version in the grungy manner of its designer counterpart, (with boots and serious attitude), or even smarten it up for work with opaque tights and some killer heels. With so many ways to style this season’s it dress, you’ve no excuse not to run out and track down this bargain immediately, I definitely will!

That’s it for today’s designer double post! Let me know what you think of this week’s find by leaving me a comment below and/or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…

Oh! how I love when high street meets designer

  2. Love the plaid! It’s fun to see the same dress for a lot cheaper!
