Today I’m bringing you an OOTD that I just had to share with you, before we well and truly wave summer goodbye. It’s hard to believe, but the scorching weather we encountered when taking these shots, was just one week ago, almost to the day. Crazy, no? Being as the British weather looks set to go into full-blown autumn mode, I thought I’d share my last summery OOTD with you.
This super summery outfit from my recent holiday just had to be part of an outfit of the day shoot, so my boyfriend and I found a fitting part of the beach to shoot these pictures, just below a 1930s beach house. I was quite obviously going for a Marilyn inspired look, as I absolutely idolise her, and I feel looks like this that are heavy on retro inspiration never really go out of style. I’m wearing a Pussycat London dress that I found years ago in TK Maxx and that I’d never worn, red wedges from Ebay which you can find here, and which I featured in my Ebay haul on Youtube here. Finally I also popped on my white ’80s does ’60s Ebay sunglasses which featured in the haul too, and can be bought here.
I hope you enjoy this super fun outfit, even if it’s not exactly conducive to the miserable weather which has once again been set upon us! If you’d like to see this look ‘in action’ so to speak, then click here for my recent week in outfits video which features this look. We filmed the video throughout our holiday, and this outfit was for Saturday, so stay tuned to the end of the video.
That’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it and it put a bit of sunshine back in your day. Let me know what you think of today’s look by leaving me a comment below and/or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
