OOTD: Bring On The Grunge

Hello and welcome to today’s outfit of the day! This grungy, summer ensemble is one I put together recently for a duller day than the usual heatwave weather we’ve been having lately! Being as it was overcast, I saw it as a great opportunity to go back to black, and it gave me a chance to rock my new grunge tee from George at Asda. If you want to hear me talk about this tee in more detail, it featured in my recent July Collective Haul so click here for that.

Other than my new prized T-shirt (which was a snip at £4 and available here), I’m also wearing an old pair of New Look black skinnies that I DIYed using a technique by Amy Pham in her video here. I love how they turned out, and it saved me spending £50 on a pair I really liked from Urban Outfitters not too long ago. To keep the look simple I tied my hair up, threw on my favourite H&M chain, my Primark leopard rucksack and then my Even&Odd at Zalando boots which also featured in my July Collective Haul here, and in last week’s Fashion Meets Music OOTD, here. My sunglasses as usual are Forever 21. I ended up loving this last-minute outfit way more than I thought I would, and I can’t wait to team this tee a tonne more ways throughout this summer!
