OOTD with Brave Soul

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely team at online store Brave Soul, who offered to send me a piece of my choosing to style and review. Being as I love black all year round, and leather details, I opted for their £24 leather look skirt, and I have to say it’s love. I thought I’d show you guys how I styled my new skirt and incorporate some more new pieces into the outfit that you’ll see coming up in a brand new haul video tomorrow, so stay tuned for that!

This skirt falls gorgeously and it’s reasonably weighty, so there’ll be no embarrassing windy day situations. It also looks just as great with tights as it does with bare legs, and has a lovely worn look to it which is a great antidote to the squeaky-clean, overly PVC leather look skirts out there. You can pick up the skirt from Brave Soul here. I’ve also gone for this gorgeous green Lana shirt from Monki, which is £12 in the sale, you will need a white or tan tank under it as it is VERY sheer! My coat is vintage and was gifted to me by a neighbour.

I upped the accessories with my beloved Vivienne Westwood bag, which I bought with a House of Fraser voucher that I recently won for my blog post here. My rings are really old (my left hand is all H&M and on the right they’re both New Look and a family heirloom). Finally the necklaces are a crystal from Tentative Decisions, a skull from Julien Macdonald at Debenhams, a tiny spike from the Topshop sale and my M pendant from Urban Outfitters. My boots are from H&M and they have them back in stock here and my sunglasses are Forever 21.

That’s it for today’s post, be sure to check back tomorrow for my latest haul video featuring some of these items! In the meantime, let me know what you think of this look by leaving me a comment below and/or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe, I’d love to know! Until next time…
