Hello and welcome to today’s OOTD. This look is one I put together yesterday as my boyfriend and I wandered Chiswick and hit the Vintage Home Show being the ’60s obsessives we are. Then we headed to one of our favourite places, the Tate Modern, via this awesome deserted street which we just had to take some outfit snaps in.
I’m wearing this amazing sequinned skull jumper from Blue Rinse at Urban Outfitters. Blue Rinse‘s remade collection is always so fun and each piece is a one-off, so if you ever see any pieces in Urban Outfitters, on the UO site or on Blue Rinse’s ebay account then snap them up immediately. I was lucky enough to find this skull jumper in the Urban Outfitters sale for just £22 instead of £45 and I adore it, could it be more me? I’ve toned down the jumper with all black- my Monki high-waisted Stevie jeans, and my beloved H&M ‘Milla Jovovich’ boots as I’ve dubbed them (similar here). My Mango faux leather jacket was the final piece of the puzzle and just added a bit of toughness and warmth over the top.
I’m carrying my Max C London skull stud bag with me as always, and for a pop of colour in an otherwise all-black ensemble I’ve gone for bright pink nails. This is one of my favourite polishes ever- Barry M’s Shocking Pink and it lasts ages on the nails. Jewellery-wise I stuck to rings only so as not to be OTT, so (from l-r) I went for my Great Grandmother’s engagement ring which I wear everyday, my New Look skull ring, a New Look druzy ring that my sister bought me for Christmas, my huge H&M stone ring and finally a cute skull above-knuckle ring that I picked up recently from River Island (available here).
That’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what you think of today’s look and what skull pieces you’ve been rocking lately by leaving me a comment below or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
