She Hearts Sunday #18

Hello and welcome to today’s She Hearts Sunday! Today I have quite a few hearts to get through; styling videos, new Youtubers, make up tutorials, and music, so there’s plenty to be cracking on with. Get yourself a cuppa, get comfy and let’s get started.

She Hearts…Haim

Haim seem to be everywhere right now, and like most people I have fallen head over heels for them. For those who haven’t come across them yet, Haim are a girl band consisting of three sisters from Cali and as you’d expect, they’re seriously cool. Not only do I love their sound, but also their style, their awesome long locks and to be honest I could go on. If you’re already thinking about what you’re going to blare out from your car windows this summer, this is probably what you should be going for. They’re just that good.

She Hearts…Styling Sweaters

One of my favourite Youtube channels for styling tips, is undoubtedly The Platform, and their ‘The Fashion Statement’ series with Amy Pham. In their latest video Amy shows you her favourite ways to pair sweaters, and seeing as that’s all I want to wear at the moment, this video couldn’t have come around at a better time. If you can’t get enough of your jumpers at the moment and want to switch things up a bit, maybe this quick video will give you some much-needed inspiration.

She Hearts…Dewy + Radiant Make Up

There are few Youtubers who inspire me to change up my make up like the Pixiwoo sisters, Sam and Nic. This week they uploaded a dewy and radiant make up tutorial that’s utterly gorgeous and seemingly simple to achieve at home. I love natural make up looks so am always looking for tips in that department, and this tutorial ticks all the boxes. If you want to go a little more light on the make up this new year, then this video is a must-see.

She Hearts…Emma Pickles

The first of two new Youtubers I’ve come across lately now, and first it’s Emma Pickles. Emma creates genuinely amazing tutorials for crazy costume make up looks and more subdued looks too. She’s a Brit and is from up North, not too far from where I grew up, so I always want to give a shout out to bloggers and vloggers from the UK! Even if you’re not a dab hand at the face paint, Emma can show you how it’s done, and to be honest, even if you don’t intend to do it yourself, it’s awesome seeing her creations come to life. My favourites are the super Roy Lichtenstein pop art look, Kat Von D make up tutorial and her Kristen Stewart red carpet look, it is uncanny!

She Hearts…The Fashion Citizen’s Thrifted Winter Looks

One of the things I respect a lot in people is their ability to spot a bargain, it is after all not always easy. That’s why I love The Fashion Citizen’s brilliant winter looks video, featuring all ‘thrifted’ finds. Finding genuinely good pieces amongst the tat in charity and thrift shops can sometimes lead people to give up, but this video proves that there are great finds out there and you just have to get searching! You can look a million dollars without breaking the bank, you just have to get smart and if this isn’t motivation, I don’t know what is!

She Hearts…Sunbeamsjess

Last but by no means least is the second of today’s new Youtube loves, and it’s Sunbeamsjess. I was recently looking around on Youtube for more fashion-lead channels, because as much as I love beauty videos, fashion really is my thing. I soon came across Sunbeamsjess who I can’t believe I haven’t been watching all this time. For those who are as late to the party as I was, Jess’ videos are really well put-together, she has great quirky, edgy style and again, she’s a Brit so you have to show some love! If you love lookbooks, hauls, and a whole load of inspiration then I don’t know why you’re not subscribed yet.

That’s it for today’s She Hearts Sunday, let me know what you’ve been loving this week, or if you love any of these hearts by leaving me a comment below or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
