Stylish Stocking Fillers: 5 For Under £15

It’s almost Christmas, and that can mean many things, you might have a few more stocking gifts to buy, you might not have started your Christmas shopping at all, or all you might need is a small ‘secret santa’ gift for somebody at work. Whatever wallet-conscious present you need to pick up, make sure it’s a stylish one this year with my stocking filler gift guide. I’ve got five great items which I think nail some of fashion’s biggest trends at the moment, so for the fashionistas in your family or group of friends, there’ll definitely be something here. Don’t stalk the high street struggling with shopping bags, get cosy on the couch and fill up those stockings without all the unnecessary effort.

monki

First up is a piece from one of my absolute favourite high street stores; Monki. The oh-so-cool Swedish store is of the same company as Cheap Monday and their effortlessly chic pieces are to die for, but won’t break the bank. This Raphaela necklace is super modern and bang on-trend with its gold detailing and bright white cords, it definitely has that skandi-chic feel. I’d pair this with a chunky knit this year and then over pretty dresses come spring/summer. If you’re buying for someone who loves making a style statement, this is a no-brainer and only £12.

mugs

Next today is an item I’ve had my eye on for quite some time and am hoping to find in my stocking this year! It’s this, or should I say these, skull mugs from online boutique Retrodec (the white one’s my favourite!). For £6.50 each, these mugs are an absolute bargain and are perfect for those obsessed with day of the dead and skull paraphernalia. Skulls are everywhere right now, and such an a la mode mug will never go unloved. For a quirky, offbeat present that’s practical at the same time, why not go for this ghoulish yet stylish gift?

newlook

Today’s next gift suggestion is one for the punkier of your friends. This New Look necklace nails this season’s spiked trend and will look just as awesome over an LBD as it will over a grungy tee. The tarnished style gold adds edge and the volume of spikes make this necklace look far more luxe than the £7.99 it costs. Just wrap it in a cute gift box to really up the style ante. What’s better is that New Look are currently running a buy one get one free offer on all their jewellery online, so you can grab one for yourself while you’re shopping! Bargain.

urbanoutfitters

The penultimate present for today’s guide is this iPhone case courtesy of Urban Outfitters. For those who love their gadgets, there’s nothing more fun than being able to express your style through your case, and this jewel print shell case definitely makes a style statement. Touching on this season’s baroque and opulent trend, the jewel print is kept modern with the white background and for only £12 will glitz up any iPhone 5.

Finally for today, with another nod to the skull trend, is this bracelet set from Pull & Bear. At £9.99 this set incorporates not just skulls, but crosses and spikes, two other mega-trends, and perfectly combines all the popular insignia in black and gold in a shamballa style. For those who love to mix up their jewellery and rock an arm party every now and again, this is an easy way to get a whole wrist of bling without collecting it from several different stores.

That’s it for today’s gift guide, let me know if you’re planning on picking up any of these pieces, for a loved one or for yourself! Just leave me a comment below or tweet me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
