OOTD: Eurogamer Expo

It’s OOTD time and today I bring you a super geek chic outfit that I wore for the geekiest of events: Eurogamer Expo. Eurogamer Expo is held at Earl’s Court here in London and showcases all the latest games that are hitting the shelves in the near future. For gamers it really is a great day out and we even spotted a few familiar characters amongst the crowd too! Of course, I couldn’t think of a more fitting event to debut my new Star Wars jumper and I can feel that this is going to be a common uniform for me in the coming colder months.

If you’re on Pinterest, you’ll know that it has the ability to start off many obsessions, and after spotting this gorgeous look on there, I had to find myself something similar. Luckily for me, days after spotting the Pinterest image I happened upon this £16.75 Star Wars jumper in Forever 21 and decided it was fate. I can’t seem to find this jumper online, but I picked mine up from the Oxford Street branch so that may be the best place for a search. Here’s how I styled my new favourite jumper.

To keep things simple I opted for almost all black, aside from my Timeless colour pop boots, so my Monki ‘Dotte’ skirt was a must. I love this simple stretch skirt for everyday dressing and for £12 you just can’t go wrong, it’s available on the Monki site here. My tights are a simple Primark pair and my jacket is my beloved gold hardware biker from Mango which instantly adds toughness to any outfit. At £44.99 I think it’s a really well-priced and luxe looking jacket that isn’t instantly noticeable as faux. You can pick up this Mango biker here.

On my nails I chose this space-like Cobalt Blue from Barry M (available here) and topped it with gold glitter from Chit Chat at Poundland. Say what you will about Poundland, but their gold glitter is the longest lasting I’ve ever tried. You can see my full review of it here. My rings are both cheap and cheerful and have not left my fingers since I bought them both a few weeks ago. The skull ring satisfies my current skull obsession and was only £3.50 from New Look. You can find it here and New Look are currently running a buy one get one free offer on all their jewellery! The second ring is from H&M and I believe was £2.99, it’s not available online but I’ve seen it in every H&M I’ve been in recently so it shouldn’t be hard to find.

Before I go, here are some Instagram snaps I took whilst in Eurogamer Expo so enjoy the sneaky peek into our geekery-filled day!

1. My boyfriend, me and my brother about to leave! 2. An ‘Alien’ scares passers by. 3. Waiting to play Assassin’s Creed III. 4. Halo’s Master Chief.

That’s it for today’s OOTD, let me know what you think of today’s look by leaving me a comment or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
