OOTD: Windsor Castle

Being as it’s a terribly glum day here in the UK, I thought a little bit of sunshine was definitely in order. Today I bring you an OOTD from a recent trip to Windsor Castle, where the shine was shining and an autumnal day felt a lot more summery than it should have done. I decided being as we were going to the Queen’s house and all that, I’d go all out in bright colours and clashing prints, which is exactly what I did.

I’m wearing a polka dot t-shirt from Next that I’ve had since I was about 16, which was quite a long time ago! Every time I spring clean, this survives the trash pile as it’s just such a gorgeous, flattering shape and of course polka dots are always a classic. As for the clash, I added a Primark leopard print scarf that my sister bought me for Christmas last year. I wear it all the time as it’s so versatile and not too heavy to wear in summer too. To up the colour ante I wore my Peacocks mustard coat over the top of the ensemble and paired it down with my Topshop Kristen jeans, which I love. Lastly, my boots are my usual from Timeless and my bag was also a Christmas gift a few years back from River Island.

As usual I thought I’d throw in some snaps from the day. The castle was every bit as gorgeous as I imagined it would be, and we definitely had the weather for walking around the grounds, I’d highly recommend going and taking a look!

That’s it for today’s OOTD, but what do you think? What prints have you been clashing at the moment? I’d love to know, so tweet me @MillieDelacoe or leave me a comment below. Until next time…
