Nothing jazzes up an otherwise all-black outfit like a hint of print, and that’s exactly the type of look I went for with my latest OOTD. I absolutely love leopard print, but you can easily overdo it. With this ensemble I started out with black and added colour pop boots, an on-trend spiked necklace and of course the hint of print to add a bit more drama and a lot more fun.
Arguably the most important part of my outfit, the dress, was a bargainous sale buy from Motel at £18 earlier this year. Although Motel no longer carry it, you can find it online on discount sites, it’s called the ‘Lola’ shirt dress and I utterly love it. I’ve buttoned mine up all the way and layered my ASOS skull and spike necklace over the top (see close up below from Instagram). To cinch me in, I’ve used a River Island belt that came on a skirt and I love that it adds a feminine shape to this more masculine style dress. The coat is vintage and was recently given to me by a neighbour alongside many other amazing vintage pieces, so a ‘haul’ on all that will be up soon. The leggings as usual are George at Asda (the most comfy) and the shoes were from a boutique in St. Ives but you can find similar by Timeless online and at Barratt’s.
I instagrammed these behind the scenes snaps when I shot this OOTD, on the left is the ASOS necklace (more great ASOS spiked jewellery to come on the blog soon) and the nails are painted with Boots No.7 Stay Perfect polish in Devil’s Delight (click here for that). The left ring is from H&M and is available instore now, whilst the skull ring is from New Look and is available here. (You can add me on on Instagram by searching for camilladelacoe).
That’s it for today’s OOTD, I hope you enjoyed it and it might give you some autumnal outfit ideas. There are plenty more OOTDs on their way, so keep your eyes peeled and in the meantime, let me know what you think below or tweet me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
