NOTD: Sweet Wrapper Chic

A quick NOTD post for you today and this is a 2True polish I picked up two days ago from Superdrug. I’ve never bought anything from 2True before, but when I spotted this gorgeous pink/orange iridescent colour shining away on the stand I couldn’t resist checking it out, as the title of this blog would suggest it really reminds me of a sweet wrapper! There are a lot of iridescent polishes out at the moment, most notably the Max Factor ones that seem to have received quite a lot of press at the moment. I’m a glitter girl through and through, and iridescent and chrome polishes don’t usually grab my attention, but this one is so glittery and iridescent and I also thought the bottle was super cute!

It doesn’t have a name other than being called ‘Shade 6’ and it is packaged differently from the other 2True polishes as it’s a limited edition ‘Crystal’ polish. For ยฃ1.99 I thought this was a treat that we could all justify buying ourselves and it certainly hasn’t let me down. Although it would take many layers to achieve full opacity, I applied two coats of Barry M’s Shocking Pink which is a bright pink as a base and then topped it off with two coats of the 2True polish. I applied this as soon as I got home and today is day three of having it on my nails and I’m still so in love with it. It catches the light amazingly and I haven’t seen a single chip so far. The gorgeous shine this polish creates hasn’t dulled and I can definitely see another good 2-3 days of wear. I highly recommend this for fun nails that don’t cost a fortune!

Despite my best efforts, my photographs really don’t do the polish’s iridescence justice so definitely check this out instore!

That’s it for today’s NOTD, what polishes are you loving at the moment? Leave me a comment letting me know, or tweet me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
