OOTD: Nothing but scribbles

Hello and welcome to another OOTD. As you may have seen from my Twitter I’m currently enjoying a relaxing bank holiday weekend with my family back in Wales, and thought it would be a perfect time to snap an OOTD in the sun! Hopefully there’ll be more OOTDs on their way this week, but for now I’ll run you through the outfit I wore today to visit some more of my family and generally kick back.

I’m wearing an amazing top from Primark which I am besotted with at the moment. I love the ’50s/60s style print on it, it really reminds me of something from Mad Men. With gold and black accessories I think that it instantly looks more expensive, and being as I only paid £5 for it, it’s pretty good going. I’ve teamed the top (which you’ll see in an upcoming prints post) with some summery shorts from H&M which are also currently instore and which I’ll be featuring in an upcoming summer basic posts too! The black leggings are from George at Asda, my converse are from Schuh and the bag which you can barely see is my new skull handbag from Max C London which I featured in my April Favourites (click here to see that).

Accessories wise I’ve gone for my staple necklace of the moment, a chain from H&M, and an assortment of bracelets that I’ve talked in more detail about in a recent post about hardware (click here to read that). My lips ring is also H&M and was featured in my April Favourites (what wasn’t!), on my actual lips I’m wearing No. 17’s Hawaii Pink (a surefire May favourite) and my nails are Orly’s Oh Cabana Boy! which is a neon pink that is so amazingly Barbie, in a good way.

This is a lovely comfy outfit for visiting family, balancing casual with fun elements and throwing in a grungy chain for good measure. What do you think of the mix? I love knowing what you guys think, so be sure to let me know by leaving me a comment or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe.

Until next time…

Millie x
