I have a confession to make: I may be one of the most impatient people in the world, when it comes to letting my nails dry. It got to the point where I would always end up with a chink or two out of my fresh polish, just because I believed I had far too much to do to sit around and wait for the layers upon layers of glitter polish I love, to dry. One solution I found was getting Shellac manicures, they are bone-dry when you leave the salon, leaving little room for error, although it ends up being a bit of an expense in terms of upkeep. When beauty store Blow Ltd. contacted me recently to test out one of their products, I was genuinely really excited to see if these ‘Miracle Drops’ would really help out with my at-home manicure- and my impatience! I’ve always heard good things about Leighton Denny products so couldn’t wait to try them out for myself and see some results.
I have to say, after thoroughly trying this out with different formulas of polish- it really works. I pile on glitter polish like there’s no tomorrow, and this severely cut down the waiting time, each time. Seconds after dropping this onto my nails, they were touch dry rather than tacky. This needn’t be wiped off either as it doubles up as a nourishing cuticle oil which sinks into the skin as quickly as it dries the nails. I’d 100% recommend this if you’ve got places to be, but want to save some money by doing your nails yourself. This is literally the simplest thing to use, there’s no faffing around and you can get yourself out the door that much sooner than with a regular topcoat. Although I used a fair few drops of this, it really isn’t evident in the bottle, and it still appears as though I have tonnes left. This retails for £11, which really isn’t expensive compared to going to the salon, and it will last ages!
That’s it for my review of the Leighton Denny Miracle Drops, I hope it’ll help some of you save some cash by doing your nails yourself, I can’t get enough of this stuff at the moment!
